The Company is managed by a Frenchman and a Swiss, who are driven by their passion and profound knowledge of the region to offer customised authentic and responsible tourism. Within their 14 years of experience they earned recognition and an excellent reputation as Central American specialists. Imagenes Tropicales was also chosen to organise logistics for a French director for the realisation of his documentary “Costa Rica à l’état pur”. We further contributed to various guidebook editors (Ulysse, Petit Futé…) to find their way around the country and organised several press trips.
One of our current projects is building an ecolodge together with indigenous people of Boruca, in the south of Costa Rica. The lodge will open in fall 2010 and we are looking forward to a great cooperation that will bring an important piece of original Costa Rican culture to new life (read more about Borucas).

Imagenes Tropicales is a European travel agency operating from San José, Costa Rica since 1996. We work together with local hotels, guides and rental agencies in order to provide customized services. Imagenes Tropicales has affiliated agencies in Nicaragua and Panama.
